We got our first winter storm here in VA today! I wouldn’t have thought that my first actual post on this blog would be anything other than makeup related but, here I am. I decided to make a warm, simple snack for us to enjoy today since we’re stuck inside. My stepson is here so it had to be something that he would like as well. You know how kids can be when it comes to eating. Even though he’s not too picky of an eater, I still have to take some things into consideration and this is what I came up with!
Buffalo Chicken Dip
You’ll need a crockpot for the recipe!
Ingredients:
(2) 8 ounce packs of cream cheese
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese (I use mild)
1 cup of Ranch dressing
(2) 12 ounce cans of chunk chicken
Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
Scoops
Step 1:Β Drain the chicken and shred with a fork as finely as you can.
Step 2: Put the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and ranch dressing in the crockpot, put the lid on and put itΒ on high until all the ingredients melt together (usually about 45 minutes). Be sure to stir frequently.
Step 3: Add in the Frank’s Red Hot to taste. I use about 1/2 cup and it makes the dip mild. Stir together really well and set crockpot to the warm setting while you enjoy. Refrigerate any leftovers and reheat in the microwave!
Enjoy with scoops or chips of your choice!!
Love your post, it looks delicious! π
